Are veneers a good option for sensitive teeth?

Q. What treatment is available for sensitive teeth? Would veneers be a possible option? My sensitive teeth is giving me grief, please help!

A. Hi many thanks for your email, there are many treatments for sensitive teeth, from simply changing your toothpaste for a sensitivity toothpaste to having veneers placed to help with the sensitivity. your best option would be to arrange a consultation with a dentist in your local area to ask there opinion on the problem. hope this is helpful.

They can help but can also make no difference, You should try white fillings first then veneers if the sensitivity reduces.

Hi, I would like an invisible brace for my lower teeth. I hace a slight under biteand a tooth slightly protruding. I would also like all my teeth whitening , with a kit that I can use at home. I have sensitive teeth and use sensodyne. Would I be suitable for a set of alligners? How much would it allcost, roughly?Do you need a referal from my dentist? And what is the waiting time?

I am 22 years old and I have really sore front upper teeth since using a sensitive toothpaste they are not as bad although I continually need to chew gum to stop them being sore – what could be possibly causing this. I have no chips in my teeth and have never had fillings or teeth out. This really only started happening in the last 3 months or so. I keep thinking that they are just sensitive – am I right – what is your suggestion. I have never fell and hit my teeth or have had any dental work done.
