Are there any possible complications with an apicectomy?

Q.
Iam 21 years old,and going to do apicectomy ,Iam suffuring from hypohtyrodism(autoimmune)there is any contraindications or complications if i do this operation?
A.
I would look to see if there are any delayed healing responses , if there are then consider antibiotic cover
