Are there any other alternatives to partial dentures?

Q. Hi, my wife has gradually been losing teeth on her top and bottom palate for a number of years. She has finally been told by her dentist that she will have to lose another tooth as is broken. He has also told her that she will ned a partial denture on both her top and botton palate holding bewteen 4 and 6 teeth each. She has tried this before but is unable to wear a denture supplied by the nhs as she ends up gagging. I wonder what her options are. Can she get a different type of denture, what about implants or bridge work. It would be posible to find some funds to this privately if we could find the best solution.,
A. The number of options here are too great to put down in one reply. Firstly we want to stabilise what is left then provide a long lasting solution to the spaces. I don’t like my only response being you need a clinical assesment, but in this case it’s true. The quality & quantity of remaining teeth, the budget , the timescale and the motivation all need to be balanced. Come and have a free consultation without obligation and I will be able to point out some of the best options in your case. Rob 0121 643 0610
