A. At the moment the strongest veneers are made form Emax porcelain – this is up to 450 MPa strength compared to Empress which is maximum 300 MPa. If a laboratory nows what they are doing and use high translucent ingots of Emax layered with feldspathic porcelain a very beautiful veneer will be made. As with all dentistry it is best to have the restoration replaced as little as possible.
