Q. Hi there, wonder if you can help me…. Im 23 years old and ever since I went to a bad dentist in my late teens i have developed a huge fear of the dentist, so bad that im reduced to tears. Problem is I know i need work done to my teeth and fear the worst…..my bottom wisdom teeth have developed tiny holes and one upper wisdom tooth has pushed the other one at the side of it out although some of the tooth is still there. Also another tooth at the back is opened on one side…this tooth has a filing in it. I know possibly I may have to have my wisdom teeth removed but im so scared and heard so many horror stories that im petrified!! Im in no pain but my thinking is I dont want to leave it any longer incase I make things worse, my teeth have been like this now for a couple of years, i just want my back teeth to be like my front ones and they are ok and look fine an straight. Can you recommend any good dentists in Sheffield? what can I do about my phobia and do you think I may have to have my wisdom teeth out? Thanks
