Am I correct to say that Enlighten did not whiten all teeth?

Q. I have used the Enlighten whitening system for two weeks at home and have had the hour in surgery boosts but have found that half of each tooth has whitened at the other half (nearest the gum) has not. My dentist told me there was no difference but I insisted that there was and have been given another syringe and been told to continue treatment for another two weeks. Is it safe to continue? Would you have expected better results? What do I say if it doesn’t work again? Many thanks,
A. Everyone’s teeth are different so you cannot compare any two peoples teeth to each other Especially when it comes to whitening. I am lucky, I need only two days of home bleaching to get my teeth looking bright. Many people also have an unrealistic expectation of how bright their teeth may become. If you are looking for fridge white/ hollywood smile then I have bad news.. no-ones teeth can whiten to those colours without veneers or crowns. It is safe to continue whitening however.Justin Glaister

I had the exact same issue using Enlighten Whitening.

My teeth didn’t whiten they just turned about 1 shade lighter yellow and only on the tips of my teeth (barely half the tooth).

I had 7 nights using 10% carbamide peroxide followed by 7 nights using 16% carbamide peroxide, followed by the 1 hour of in-office whitening on the 15th day.

The entire process was incredibly painful and the sensitivity during the 15 days
was almost unbearable

It has now been 3 weeks since I completed the full treatment and my teeth are now back to the same yellow they were before beginning treatment.

It is a waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend using this product because you will only be disappointed.

The ‘before and after’ images used to advertise these products showing beautifully white gleaming teeth are a fantasy those are veneers and crowns and are NOT the result you will get using these ‘whitening’ products.

I have tried both Enlighten and Pola and neither of them worked for me.

Luckily my dentist (after much complaining) agreed to refund my full payment (and then asked me to find another dentist to treat me).

I would rather have had white teeth than a refund.

These products do not work.

Do not believe the advertising photos.

And it’s very clear reading through this forum and others that I am not the only person this didn’t work for.

I don’t like to complain and I don’t like leaving negative feedback.

But if I had known any of this I wouldn’t have wasted my time which is why I am leaving this review in the hope it might help save someone else from wasting their money and ending up disappointed and well… really sad 🙁
