Can Anyone Be Sedated and How Much Does it Cost?
Q.
Hi, I’m a very nervous patient looking to be sedated so work can be done. It’s been many years since I’ve been to a dentist for this reason (I’ve had bad experiences) but now I’m in pain. I think I need a good few fillings and one tooth is broken really badly. I also have a wisdom tooth coming up which hasn’t got a lot of room. Can anyone be sedated and what is the price? I feel this is my only option as I am so scared. Many thanks.

Many thanks for your question. There is set criteria to be suitable for sedation, but usually if you’re fit and well it should not be a problem in a dental practice setting. Per sedation visit the usual cost is £500 – £1000 depending on the clinic.
