Dear Enquirer,
It sounds like you have either reversible pulpitis or a case of extremely sensitve teeth. Irreversible pulpitis is unbearable pain which is constant and does not need any cold/hot/sweet stimulus to begin. In addition, the only way to alleviate the symptoms of irreversible pulpitis is by taking regular painkillers and then having a root canal treatment.
I hope this helps,
Sunita

you might have exposed dentine which is the cause of sensitivity.
