Would bonding or veneers or a filling help with chipped tooth?

Q. Hi, Can you please advise – is dental bonding the same as a ‘filling’? I have a chipped front tooth and have had it filled by my dentist somewhere around 10 times over the last two years – it keeps falling out. due the dentis ‘chipping’ away at the tooth each time this chip has now become much much larger – resulting in a big gap between my teeth (i feel as though half of my tooth has gone) I have also looked at veneers but am put off due to the fact i think it would be far more noticeable against my other front tooth. could you please advise on this also. Many thanks,
A. If a filling or bonding comes off this easily then a more permanent replacement would be advised. A veneer might work well but could be difficult to match, you could consider 2 veneers to make the match easier or go to the technician and ask him to take the shade, this will cost more but would be worth the extra cost.
