Hi and thanks for the questions

In some cases orthodontics is the best option but in others it’s not – it really depends on the size of the teeth in question and the amount of space that you have. Often a comnination of both will get the very best result.

As a general rule in aeshtetic dentistry, we make the peg tooth the correct shape (either a permanent one or a temporary one first) and then carry out any orthodontics required afterwards.

It would be advisable for you to have a second opinion with a very good cosmetic dentist who can advise you on the best course of action. If you can’t find anyone local to you then please come to London and I’d be very happy to assist you.

Hope that helps
