What can be done about bleeding gums and crooked teeth?

Q. Hello Mr.Moore I am quite concerned with the health and severity of the condition of my teeth/gums. Whilst brushing, my gums bleed quite severly, and in some areas have become enflamed and very very sensitive…even though i am using mouth wash. Additionally small food gets stuck inbetween some of my teeth leaving a nasty smell in my mouth. My teeth are quite crooked and are becoming a hastle for me. I am desperately wanting to get them fixed but i do not know where to turn. Thank you, regards james,
A. You sound like you will need extensive gum treatment with a Periodontist or Hygienist. go to your dentist as soon as possible as it is very important to get things sorted out as soon as possible. Once the gums are healthy again you could consider straightening them to make them look better
