Should I Have my Tooth Taken Out Or Just Replace The Filling

Q.
Hi In short I have had medical problems over the last 14 years which all started weeks after having an amalgam filling done. I have spoken to Dentists and been reffered to many differant departmants of health and they have said my problems may be because of my amalgam but they can not garantee, I understand this Issue but am still going to get my filling removed. I have looked into extractions & composite fillings but am wary of dentist who use differant ways of extraction & BPA bondings. I am sensative to chemicals, how can I get the least toxic fillings to replace the ones I have ( silver amalgam), can biocompatible test be done be for & what about porcalins, I am very serious about this could you please advise what may help me.

You have 2 choices really; remove the tooth or the filling. If you remove the tooth then you may find it difficult to eat on this side but then you won’t need to consider reactions with another filling. Otherwise replace the filling with a composite or porcelain restoration and have the filling removed using rubber dam to minimise the inhalation of the vapour from the filling. I’m afraid to say but either way there is a high chance that it won’t help your general health to improve.
