My Teeth Have Begun To Shift Alignment Since My Mid-Twenties. What Will Sort This Out?

Q.
I have always had quite cosmetic teeth. However, since my mid-twenties, I have noticed that my two front teeth seem to be slowly shifting to the right. The middle of one of my front teeth is now aligned with the middle of my lips.

Another tooth has become crooked and is now slightly covering one of my front teeth. I was told that this tooth can be fixed with braces.

I have a genetic overbite which I am happy with. However, I am concerned about the shifting of my two front teeth. They are still perfectly straight – just moving to the right. Is this likely to get worse over time? Is there any treatment that I can have to move them back to the centre of my mouth and keep them there?

Many thanks.

A.
Hello. It’s best to seek out orthodontic advice for the this type of issue as it can be fixed with a brace or depending on the severity of your condition an aligner. Thank you for taking the time to seek out my advice, best of luck. Dr Andrew Moore.
