My teeth doesnt look good as my dentist has splint my loose tooth to my other lower teeth advice

Q. I had a very loose tooth in my lower jaw and went to my local dentist. He said he could splint my loose tooth to my other lower teeth with a fixidant by filling all six teeth at the back. He has done this but it is very bulky at the back of my teeth and they look unnatural at the front, ie, they don’t look like individual teeth anymore as the filling joins them altogether. What can be done to sort out this problem.

A. He has performed the correct treatment .  Your teeth were obviously in trouble and splinting teeth is the simplest option.  The down side is the filling in of the gaps between your teeth are filled in.  Another possibility would be to remove the problem teeth and place dental implants.  This would allow your teeth to be seperate again but obviously is a more severe option than the one performed by your dentist
