My Feel Of The Dentist Has Stopped Me Receiving Treatment, Is Sedation Available?

I been very frightened of the dentist and I have only been Three times during my lifetime and I’m a 50 year old lady. It’s come to a point when I require some much needed treatment. The last dentist I went to was a lady and said she wouldn’t refer me because I’ve already sat in the dentist’s chair. It’s only my fear of needles that stops me requiring the correct type of treatment that cause my stress and I’d like to know if I can pay to be put me to sleep during any potential procedure and how much this would cost and if this kind of thing is available on the NHS? Hello I’m glad you’ve had the courage to contact me. Many patients the world over have this fear of the Dentist and needles specifically despite their age. I would recommend you search around and find a dentist who offers sedation at their clinic, locally if possible, and hopefully that will help you relax during your required treatment.
