My bottom teeth have shifted after brace treatment. Would replacement retainers be able to fix this shift?

Q. I’ve finished my initial braces treatment and have been using retainers for a couple of months now. I recently lost my bottom retainer and noticed that my bottom teeth have shifted about 3 mm. I was just wondering if replacement retainers would be able to fix this shift or if I’d have to get braces again. Money is an issue, so I’d like to stick to the retainers if possible. Thanks for a help!,
A. As you know your teeth move very quickly once you stop wearing your retainer. If you find your retainer within a couple of weeks it may still fit, It may feel a little uncomfortable for a day or 2. Your only other option is get a new retainer made to fit the shape of your teeth now otherwise yes its another brace.
