It’s been five weeks since I had jaw realignment surgery and I still can’t open my jaw very wide. Is this normal?
Q. I have recently had jaw surgery where they realigned my jaw and pulled forward my chin. it has been 5 weeks since my surgery and can still only open my mouth about 1cm wide maybe a little more sometimes. causing difficulties when eating. also still find it hard to chew because of this. Is this normal?,
A. yes it is after such extensive surgery, see your surgeon if you’re worried
