Is there a way that I can have smile widened?
Q. Hi, I am currently almost finished having orthodontic treatment, my teeth are straight but I would like a wider smile.. showing more teeth.. the roof of my mouth is narrow..is it possible to still achieve this? My braces are supposed to be coming off in a month. Also.. as your a jaw expert, my jaw is really really clicky and doesnt seem to track up and down properly, also I have a habit of clicking it in and out on one side, if I dont it feels really tight, is this bad? Im worried about getting arthritis. I have had this since I was a child.. Im now 26. Thanks ever so much for your time.,
A. It is very difficult to give you any answers without seeing you in person. Widening your smile may be able to be done with braces and also porcelain veneers. I wouldn’t like to tell you what you would need to have done without seeing you and performing a few tests as i’d hate to give you incorrect information.I would be more than happy to see you regarding this matter.Justin Glaister
