Is it possible to file down my front teeth by qualified dentist?
Q. Is it possible to get my teeth filed down by a qualified dentist? The front two of my teeth are slightly longer than the others. I have asked dental surgeons at several practices and they have told me that they do not carry out such procedures. Can you advise on if and where I can get this done?
A. It depends on how much tooth needs to be removed. If a small amount of enamel will be removed this is possible – it is called enameloplasty. However your case needs to be carefully assessed to ensure the health of your tooth is not permanently affected
