Q. Dear doctor, I suffer from the injection procedure , this means that i do not like the pain at that moment , is there any dentist that uses the new wand system on the nhs. thanks for your time

A. I have tried the wand and it isn’t pain free. I have had it done on myself and it does hurt a little bit and it takes about 3 times as long as a normal injection. It also still involves a needle!
I would ask the dentist to use anaesthetic gel first and then apply the injection.
