I need implants to replace my missing teeth, but I am worried about the cost

Q.
Hi,
I’ve been researching dental implants and I’d love to be able to get them. I have bad teeth, partly because I haven’t looked after them enough and also due to a psychological disorder (dismorphophobia caused me to brush my teeth 20 – 40 times per day in my teens/early 20’s).

Also, when I was very young, I had an accident causing the top front 4 teeth to crack and have had crowns since around age 10 – the dysmorphophobia condition stems from this.

These 4 teeth and 2 others next to the canine on the left side of the upper jaw are where I’d like implants (as soon as possible, I’d like more on the other side of the same row later).

My main question is about the cost – can the 4 teeth be replaced with 2 implants, with the other 2 teeth replaced with 1 implant along with bridges?

I don’t have good credit, so will be taking out an expensive loan to pay for the treatment, so I’d like to know if the above proposal is a reasonable request (rather than 1 implant per tooth), and one which would be a lasting solution.

Many thanks for your time.

In theory you should be able to have a bridge supported by implants rather than separate implants and crowns.
You will need to be assessed thoroughly and then your dentist will give you a plan of action and costs associated.
If you are in the London area, I would be happy to take a look at you and point you in the right direction. My practice number is 0208 567 4344.
