I need braces but I am worried about the costs, what are the options?

Q.
hi i turn 20 in may this year when i was young i sucked my thumb allot and now i am suffering the consequences, my top teeth are quite far forward compared to my bottom ones and cant smile with mouth open as they look goffey? i was hoping i could get them done on the NHS as don’t have the funds to pay for it?
A.
Dear Enquirer,
Braces are not available for you under the NHS as you are over the age limit. Many practices offer extended payment plans so you can budget for your treatment.

Damion Says :

I have a nhs dentist I feel I need braces and another dentist I went to before this one said I need them
Yet this nhs dentist says I don’t as they are not that bad unyet I have gaps and crowed teeth
So why won’t she refer me for braces I hate what my teeth look
And hardly smile because of this I also eat on one side most of the time
