I haven’t treated my teeth well and now they are in a bad way, can you offer some advise?

Q.
Hi,

I have SLE as I must admit that I have not treated my teeth as well as I should have due to my fear of dentists however now I feel that my teeth are getting really bad due to my condition and I am embarrased to go out, I have been to my dentist to get help, but what I want to know is can I get any reconstructive help on the NHS for gum repair and missing teeth or anything, I’m only 42 and I want to have the confidence to back out to work ( I am a qualified IT Operations Mgr) but since being made redundant 3yrs ago and applying for numerous roles I haven’t had the confidence to continue applying. I feel very depressed about this, I hope that you can give me some advice.

Many thanks

A.
It’s a New Year and a time when we all feel motivated to make improvements in our habits/appearance/life, so why not try and get some help for your oral health and give yourself that chance to look good and feel great.
Please book an appointment with a dentist who can empathise with you and help you with a solution for your dental condition. There is nothing to stop you from seeing whether you can get help on the NHS, so do book an appointment and see what advice you get. If you are in the London area, you are welcome to book an appointment with me at Sparkle Dental Boutique on 0208 567 4344.
All the best,
Sunita
