I have severe dental phobia, what should I do?

Q. hi i have really bad tooth ache im currently takin 4 nurofen every 5 hours 2 take the pain away, last time i went 2 the dentist was 4 years ago when i was told i had to have too teeth out an some fillings but never had it done cause they wouldnt put me to sleep now its just got alot worse and i cant bring myself to go to a dentist im ashamed of what they will think of my teeth and horrificly scared of needles and the dentist its self what do i do please help,
A. Im afraid there is no easy solution other than to visit the dentist. Explain to the dentist that you are very nervous. All practices cater for anxious patients. Some dentists now offer sedation for nervous patients having treatment. Dont be ashamed as the denist will totally understand and will have seen worse cases.
