Q.
hello doctor. for your information i am a 16 year old student and am very paranoid about my teeth! it makes me have a low self esteem and i am very uncomfortable with how it makes me feel. ive got an overbite and loads of gaps in my teeth. when i think about my teeth i clench my jaw together as i get frustrated with them. would i be able to get free nhs treatment as i am still in full time education and cannot afford to pay for them.thank you for your time

Hello
Hello
You would need to register with an NHS dentist to see what treatments you would qualify for free of charge. However, if you don’t qualify for NHS treatment and are really unhappy with your teeth, you could find a practice that offers finance to make the payments for your treatment affordable to you.
I would recommend you visit a dentist for a full consultation to understand exactly what treatment you require to achieve the look you want. hope this helps
