I Had Dental Implants Fit In Bulgaria. Now I Can Still Feel The Stitches After A Month. Do I Need To Go Back?

Q.
Hi Dr Moore, I recently had full implant treatment in Bulgaria, the process was perfect but since then I can now feel the very top left corner of one of the top teeth at the front. I was told about gum recession but I need to know if this can be left for now, or does it need stitching or the tray refitting? Keep in mind I still have stitches in my bottom tray (the thread is supposed to dissolve over the month). I am wary spending any more money (and don’t have the money!) so soon after treatment. Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. You should seek help from an experienced local dentist and have them take a look. It would be almost impossible for me to guess without seeing you in person. If you require any further information on gum recession in the meantime you can find it through this website. You may also have to go back to Bulgaria to get this checked out. Good luck!
