I am pregnant and my tooth got chipped off can i get it fixed without waiting?
Q. I had a filling in my front tooth and it fell out, a week later as i was chewing on something my tooth chipped. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant…but is there any way I can get this fixed without waiting 2 months, it looks awful and I cant stand the sharp point. and if I can get it fixed what is the best thing to have done with it without looking abnormal.
A. Hi
If it is someting you want treated as soon as possible, then I would either contact your practice and speak about your concerns or seek a second opinion at another practice, where you would be able to get the filling done quicker.
Is it ok to have fillings when i am 5 weeks pregnant
Yes it is if you have white fillings. If you have amalgam fillings that need to be removed then I would wait until after the baby is born
I would like to replace my one remaining amalgam filling with a white filling. iwould like to know whether dentist use any safety precautions whilst removing an amalgam filling to minimise inhalation of mercury vapour? Many thanks
I am interested in having white fillings, to replace old amalgam ones. Could you please advice me on how much they are. Many thanks.
