How much would it cost to replace my porcelain veneers?

Q.
Dear Dr Hughes

Can you tell me what the cost of replacement porcelain veneers are these days and if so can you recommend anyone in the west midlands, solihull area. I have had veneers since i was 16 and i am now 34. My veneers are very dark D2 to be precise and i would like to go lighter. I have four that i would like replaced and today the front one cracked. I am so upset could you help at all.

Kind regards

A.
Hi The cost will depend very much on the following:

What level of result you are expecting – the higher the quaility the higher the fee usually
The type of porcelain used
The difficulty of your case
The experience and expertise of the dentist
The skill and expereince of the dental technician chosen to carry out your work
Whether of not you want to change the shape, stylen and dimensions of your veneers this time
The location of the practice
The number of teeth required
How quickly you want the work done
etc…

To give you a ball park though, in central London for very high quality you’ll pay anywhere from £750-£1500 per veneer

The website should give you some dentists near your area. Most of the top experts I know personally are based here in London

Kind regards

Mark
