Does Tooth Enamel Grow Back?

Q.
I am now 22 years old. My right and bottom tooth (premolar) is decayed. It sometimes causes pain and bleeding. And it disturbs me most of the time when I’m trying to do my studies. I am thinking of removing it, but I don’t want to loose my tooth when I am too young. I have doubts about whether my tooth will grow or not if I remove it. My question is, at what age do teeth stop growing? Please, I need advice on how to take care of my tooth.
Thank you.
A.
Hi, thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately, the tooth won’t grow or repair itself, the best thing to do is go to a dentist to get it looked at, they will have options to restore the tooth if it needs to come out. Kind regards, Andrew.
