Carnoustie Dentist Gives Kids A Lesson On Oral Hygiene

Sample News Big

Carnousite dentist, Graham Laws, from Laws Dental Practice, visited a local children’s playgroup last week to talk to kids about how to keep their teeth and gums strong and healthy.

Graham, principal dentist and owner of Laws Dental Practice, took time to visit the Peter Pan Club nursery to talk to children about the importance of looking after their teeth and teach them to how to brush their teeth properly. Graham was joined by practice puppet, Dougan the dog, who has proved a huge hit with children, including Graham’s 2 year old son.

Graham decided to start visiting nurseries and schools after it was revealed that a large proportion of Scottish children are not registered with a dentist, despite the fact that dental care is free for children and there are many dental practices accepting new patients.

The kids at the Peter Pan Club had a great time, as well as learning about oral hygiene and the visit was a great success.

Laws Dental Practice is currently taking on new NHS patients.
