One stray front tooth
My problem is that one of my front teeth sticks out a bit more than the other by approximately 2 mm. It isn't a biggie (I believe) but it makes me self-conscious.
Viewing some before/after pics from cosmetic dentistry sites I wondered if there was something that could be done for my case. I would be reluctant to put veneers or crowns in my mouth though. Could something be done strictly by enamel shaping?

Without a full consultation its difficult to say exactly what needs to be done, but it does sound like braces would be the best option for you. From what you describe Invisalign may be ideal

Hi
If it protruding by about 2mm, then also you may consider inman alligner or clear bracets and wire(6 months ortho) . This form of treatment would be considerably cheaper than invisalign.
I hope this helps.

So the duration of the treatment is expected to be about six months?

Hi
It is very difficult to say without a consultation, but if you say that it is only one tooth mis aligned, then I would think it would take under 6 months.Last edited by Dr Kalpesh Bohara; 08-22-2008 at 08:25 AM.
