Talking am i too old to have put right what i should of when i was a child

i was given a removable brace to wear as a child to straighten my teeth including 2 fangs, due to being bullied at school because of it i didnt wear it and have spent all my childhood and most adulthood avoiding smiling with my mouth open and being self concious about laughing. i deeply regret not continuing with the brace as a child and would love to have this rectified so i can carry on through life not having to think before i smile or laugh because of my teeth. i also have a fear of the dentist so my dentist sedates me for fillings etc, i would appreciate any help in this matter asi would like to spend the next 20+ years smiling with confident

There is no real upper age limit for you to have braces, its just easier when you are younger! I would recommend you find a dentist who you are comfortable with and explain your concerns and anxieties so that the dentist can do the work for you in a way that you are comfortable with

    I hope this helps
