Help me please :(

I got my braces on December 2007. I got my botton braces off January 2009 and my bottom braces came off later on in Febraury 2009. I have a permanent retainer on my bottom 6 front teeth as well as a permanent retainer on my four front teeth. I was also given retainers to wear on my top and bottom set of teeth nightly.
I kind of forgot during the summer, and wear them all the time now.
I recently went to the dentist and too me (maybe I am just paranoid) It feels like my teeth at the top are moving. Doesnt look likt it yet..but it feels that why. I also noticed while flossing in between my front tooth and the one right beside it, the floss went in easier, and it kinda looked like the teeniest gap. I was told that of ypu have permanent retainers your teeth wouldnt move. But mine looks like it is.
Can anyone offer me some assistance or guidance or help?!?!?
