Fixed retainers
Hi
I had my braces removed, next step is to put to permanent (fixed) retainers. My question is can you have other cosmetic procedures done with fixed retainers on such as tooth whitening, veneers, etc.
Thanks

fixed retainer
Hi,
I'm due to have my six months smile brace removed in the next few weeks, is a fixed retainer the best option? How long do you have to keep the fixed retainer on your teeth?

Hi
Each case is different, but when i complete my orthodontic cases I give both a fixed and removable retainer. (especially for my completed six months smile cases)
If you do have a fixed retainer then ideally this is for life . Retention, whether with removable or fixed retainers, is for life to reduce the risk of relapse.Dr Raha Sepehrara BSC(Hons) BDS with Distinction
