Dr Michael Gilhooly, known to most people as Mick, graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1977 and went on to complete a degree in Medicine at Charing Cross. He gained his FRCS in 1989.

Mick currently works at Central Middlesex and Northwick Park Hospitals as Lead Clinician and Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Before Northwick Park Hospital, Mick’s previous work included the Luton and Dunstable Hospital for nine years and he is in addition the Speciality Advisor for the Royal College of Surgeons in England. Mick also conducts lectures both in the UK and abroad upon numerous dental topics.

Mick’s special interests are head and neck oncology, salivary gland pathology and oral medicine and he continues his dental education to this very day, attending numerous courses and lectures each year, to enlarge his already expansive knowledge.
