Kevin qualified in Malta and worked in the state health system there and then moved to the UK in 2005 working as a dentist on a new pilot scheme for the NHS, which was unfortunately not put into practice. He then moved to Cleveland Cosmetic and Dental Implant Clinic in Fairfield, Stockton-on-Tees in August 2006 and quickly established himself as a valued member of the team.

Kevin attends courses and events regularly and has recently been awarded his MSc (with distinction) in Restorative Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in conjunction with Leeds University.

He is also studying for his Diploma in Implantology and will now be working increasingly alongside Mike on some of the dental implant and cosmetic work within the Clinic. Kevin is a member of the following organisations:

• British Society of Periodontology (treatment of gum disease)
• British Society of Restorative Dentistry (Restoring the failing dentition)
• British Dental Association

A commitment to providing patients with optimum standards of patient care has ensured his standing as a popular, conscientious dentist and he was recognised for this at the National Dentistry Awards in 2009 where he was highly commended in the “Best Young Dentist” category for the North East Region.

Apart from English and Maltese, Kevin also speaks very fluent Italian and some French.
