Hi, I’m a student at Scarborough Sixth Form college and am looking to get my teeth straightened and whitened. Iwas thinking of the “six month smile” method do you know roughly what this would cost and if it was avaliable free under NHS? As for the whitening of the teeth i was thinking of a home whitening kit because they are’nt that bad, which kit would you recomend? Thanks

I have dentures and is it possible to whiten my teeth along with my denture

I have dentures on my upper left side from where I had a malignant tumour removed (I have no natural gum in that area) I would like to get my teeth whitened, will I be able to get the false teeth also whitened or will I require new dentures to get a match? I am 27 years old & had the dentures when I was 16 (after failed implants), I see that they go up at an angel which is very noticeable to me when I smile. Even after many reconstructive surgeries my face is still lowered and uneven in the area where support is gained from the false gums, would I be able to regain symmetry & make it less visible with a better denture? What if any of these procedures would I be able to get on the NHS? Many thanks for your time, I look forward to your response.

I have a dark grey line along the base of my bottom molar teeth what could this be?

I have a couple of problems I’d like advice on. Firstly, I have just noticed a dark grey line along the base of one of my bottom molar teeth… the rest of the tooth looks healthy and the gum doesn’t hurt… what could this be? Secondly, I had some fillings along the top of my 2 front teeth, but the dentist smeared it all over the teeth, which have now stained darker than the rest of my teeth. Is it possible to have these removed? I am considering teeth whitening- specifically ‘enlighten’ as all my teeth are quite stained and I’m only 22 but I’m just wondering if this causes long term damage to the enamel, and how long lasting the effect actually is?

I had a full lower dental implant is there any possibility of lighten the stain in the implants

Hello, I am a 59 year old woman that had a full lower dental implant put in 3 years ago…have had 3 back surgeries since then and my implant hygeine was not good…they are very stained from coffee and tea…is there any product out there that can help lighten these stains? I cannot afford a dentist at this time [hard luck story]…I have a removable top denture that is about 5 shades lighter than my lower implant…very ugly…hope there is something I can begin using, until such time I can afford to walk in the door of a dentist. There has never been any gum bleeding or swelling indicative of infection, so I am extremely grateful for that…any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m glad I found your web site…it’s great.

My front teeth are bright yellow I have tried every whitening treatment could you please help me

Hi there, my teeth are terrible! the front two above teeth are bright yellow, there’s a gap between them too. this has really lowered my confidence. Im 21 and have become very depressed due to my teeth. I can’t smile, i absolutley HATE talking face 2 face with anyone. I feel so embarassed talking about it to anyone, even my partner, he never talks about it beacause he knows this will really make me feel upset and angry. This is destroying my confidence, i hate going out.Please could u give some advice on what options i have, i have tried every whitening treatment. Please help me. I’m also on NHS would they help me?? Hi, I have recently had my teeth whitened and the initial quotation was for in house laser treatment, that changed to a 2 week Enlighten home kit and 2 20 minute sessions in the dentists using a stronger gel, before i have any more work done can you tell me if £800 was an acceptable price to pay considering the laser treatment was not used.
