Would you recommend teeth whitening syringes got from the Internet?

About 2 years ago my dentist made me a set of trays to use for teeth whitening. I used the whitening gel he provided and was very pleased with the result. I would like to treat my teeth again but my dentist will charge me £25 for a 1.3mg syringe of Polanight 13% peroxide gel. I can buy four syringes of the same product on the internet for about £34. Would it be safe/sensible for me to buy it in this way? Is this a good product or could you recommend a better one?

My teeth whitening kit has completely receeded my gums Is this normal?

I recently used a home teeth whitening kit that apparently is dental grade. I trimmed back the teeth trays to the gum line as recommended but after using it only 3 times (for a third of the recommended time), I was horrified to find my gums have receeded completely and noticable back, as though they have been burnt off. It does not hurt. Is this normal?! Will they grow back? Should I ever use the product again? Please help! I am very worried about this. Thank you very much.

Will zirconium caps get whitened along with the other teeth?

I have had zirconium caps fitted for my two top front teeth because i broke them in a childhood accident.the caps were originally selected to match the rest of my teeth.i now want to whiten my teeth, so i wanted to know will the zirconium caps also get whitened along with the other teeth? if not,how can i get all of them whitened and matching each other.please reply

Hiya, I’m 19 yrs old and i have the worst teeth. They’re wonky and i have (what feels like) a huge gap. my teeth are yellow and if i’m honest, i don’t brush them as much as I should do. I have a massive phobia of dentists, i haven’t been in about 6 years. the last time i had a filling i had to be put to sleep. I work in a physicatric hospital and the paitnets all pick out my teeth which is quiet hurtful. i was wondering, would veneers be the answer? and if i went through with any cosmetic dentistry, would i be able to be put to sleep? thanks

My teeth are yellowish in colour how much would teeth whitening cost

Hello Sir, I am 15 years old and my teeth are in a good condition, but I have a problem, my teeh are yellow-ish they look white from a distance but when I look in the mirror its the complete opposite. I have bought every type of tooth paste claiming to whiten teeth but none have worked. I was wondering if I should have my teeh whiten (and how much would it cost) or could you give me any advice on how i can prevent them turning yellow. Thank You

The gum shield used for my whitening became dull is it okay to use it again?

Hello i wounder if you could give me some advice about teeth whitening, i had my teeth whitened in thailand with zoom whitening and was giving opalescence 20% to use in gum shield which were made specialy for me during the night from time to time when they become dull (not as white as usual) Is it okay for me to do this and will it damage my teeth? thank you

Is it safe to have laser treatment to whiten my teeth after one has had radiotherapy

Hi Dr Moore I am enquiring if it is safe to have the cosmetic laser treatment to whiten my teeth after one has had radiotherapy on their face. This radiotharepay was due to oral cancer 7 years ago where I hade entry zones to the front and right side of my face. I also have reduced siliva flow but it is easily manageable with a good cleaning program. I am getting married soon and would like to try some sort of whitening for my teeth as at the moment I get a clean bill of health everytime I visit my dentist and he advises me to contact a specialist.
