Can i get dental implants treatment at NHS?

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi Dr Moore I would like your advice on what i need done to my teeth and where to start. Bascially when i was younger my front tooth was knocked out and over the years the gap has closed and the is no space for an implant. Im 22 years old and a student at the moment so cant afford £1000s. Would an NHS dentist do this type of work? or what would advive i do to start correcting this promlem, as it is really affecting me. thank you for taking the time to read this.

Is tooth bonding the best procedure for closing the gap between teeth?

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009
Q.
I have a gap between two of my front teeth and i was wondering what kind of treatment i could get in order to close the gap. I was researching about tooth bonding and just wanted to ask if you thought that would be the best thing to do in order to close the gap?

Can u advice me on subsidized cosmetic treatment?

Monday, August 24th, 2009
Q.
Hi Julian i need some advice i haven’t been to a dentist since i was in my early teens i’m now 29, My teeth are really bad and have been since a kid and have affected my confidence greatly i’m also terrified of the dentist since i was given gas as a kid and took a bad reaction to it. I know i have to do something with my teeth as they are only going to get worse and i need my confidence back as it holds me back, my fear is if i need cosmetic treatment and the cost i wouldn’t be able to afford the treatment as my teeth are that bad. Is there any instances where treatment done subsidised i really want to avoid false teeth. Any advice on what to do would be great thanks.

Q.
Hi Dr. I have about three cavities and need my wisdom teeth out as they are growing towards the rest of my teeth so are causing discomfort. I also have gum disease and is making me uncomfortable in social situations. what im considering is having dental implants and having my wisdom teeth extracted also, but will this get rid of my breath and gum problems and can you give me some sort of price?

Removed the bonding from my teeth, they are now ugly and scratched, can something be dont?

Saturday, March 28th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I recently got my two front teeth bonded to close the gap between them. There was a misunderstanding as I thought the bonding would only be placed in the gap between the teeth and not the surface. To my horror I had a thick layer of bonding placed on the surfaces of both teeth! I was really angry and asked to have it removed. She would not and told me it was not reversible. I removed the bonding myself with a fine nail file. Now I am left with a bunch of scratches on my two front teeth. My teeth were beautiful before all this and now they’re ugly! Is there anyway to get my old teeth back, or have I caused irreversible damage? Note, the scratches are not deep at all, it feels smooth but they look terrible! Please Help.
