how can i fix my broken pin supporting my smaller incisor?

Monday, April 6th, 2009
Q.
My front incisor which was capped but supporting the smaller incisor beside it via a titanium (I think?) pin, broke off at gum level yesterday leaving a large gap! What are my options? Can you use the healthy root of the main incisor as the anchor for a pin? The canine tooth beside the smaller incisor is completely in tact. Could the ‘floating’ incisor be mounted on that? What would all of that cost – roughly if it’s at all possible that is?

I used to have a gap on both sides of my incisors between them and the lateral incisors. over time 1 closed to a amount i am comfortable with but 1 remains large. is it possible for this gap to shrink naturally? if my 3rd molars come in straight will this shift the teeth shrinking the gap? please respond, i have been obsessing over this.

my incisor is cracked

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009
Q.
Dear Sir/Madam, I’m writing to ask about incisor repair. My friend’s one of the incisor is cracked. She had treatment before , the back of incisor was granded thinner and patched with a half incisor sized artificial teeth. So the patch is attached to the front part of the incisor. But this time the crack happens to the front part. The cracked piece is about 2mm size. Could you suggest a likley treatment and how much it would cost? Many thanks, Jay

One of my upper incisors B didn’t grow It is genetics

Thursday, December 11th, 2008
Q.
Hello, One of my upper incisors (B) didn’t grow. It is genetics. My sister don’t have one of the incisors (B) too. They move her teeth so the big gap size of a tooth dissapeared. In my case they put a temporary porcelain tooth which is glued with some special glue to my incisor (A) and canin. I was supposed to have a surgery where they would give me implant. But I don’t want to have implant. I am just 22 years old and I don’t want to have fake tooth all my life. I would like to have my teeth moved, so the space, where is porcelain tooth now, will be gone. They did this with my sisters teeth so it is possible isn’t it? It doesn/t matter that the gap is big as a tooth? I would like to ask you if it can be done and if it can be done with Invisalign. Thank You very much

I’m 21 years old and I definitely dont want any braces

Friday, November 28th, 2008
Q.
Hey, I’m 21 years old and I definitely dont want any braces. But, I have this one tooth between my incisor and canine which is completely crooked. It looks like I have a gap in my top half set, and then when you look close enough there is a tooth sitting at a 45 degree angle between two other teeth. Do you think if I had my widsom tooth in the top right corner of my mouth removed, my crooked tooth would straighten up? And if so, how long would it take? Thanks

I am having four old crowns replaced at the front

Thursday, November 13th, 2008
Q.
I am having 4 old crowns replaced at the front ,the 4 upper incisors either side of two front teeth, (they where 23years old) .For the first time I was having pain in my lower and upper jaw . I believed it was because the temporaries where too tight ,so returned to dentist yesterday and he removed them and replaced with individual temporaries. At 4 o`oclock this morning I awoke with this throbbing pain returning to my lower jaw . I`m losing confidence in my dentist. To put on the new temporaries he took 1.5 hours. By which time the novocaine was wearing of and I was v.sensitive to the placing and removal of the crowns . He seemed to fit each one around 4 times ,off and on. This is not normal as I have had crowns fitted for the last 34 years,I have never suffered with temporaries before. What is going on?

I have a gap between my front incisor

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008
Q.
Hi, I have a gap between my front incisor and the next tooth (can’t think what that one is called) i would like this gap closed, but have been told that i would have to have all of my teeth shaved down from canine to canine just to close this gap! Is there anything else that could be done? I don’t really want to destroy perfectly healthy teeth. My teeth really bother me and I am looking to have the work done ASAP. I look forward to your response. Regards

I have a gap because my lateral incisors are missing

Friday, August 15th, 2008
Q.
Hi Dr Suri. some reason my lateral incisors (upper) never grew. As a result, I have a gap between my central incisors (probably drofted apart) and two gaps where my lateral incisors should be. I should also point out that I have ’27’ teeth in all so I’m guessing there’s a few more missing (probably molars). I’d really like to get my teeth sorted cuz I haven’t smiled in years!! What procedure would you suggest that I undergo?

I have twisted, crowded teeth and my teeth are moving what is the treatment cost?

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008
Q.
Hi, I basically have a cost question. I have a few issues with my teeth, nothing major but enough that I’m considering having them fixed. I can’t seem to find a cost-quote though, I’ve read a load of material but nothing with a price-list!.. Anyway, the problems I have are:

1) I have a twisted tooth on the lower jaw, it’s the one immediately to the right of my left incisor. It’s always been twisted so I was wondering if this was fix-able and also what the cost of doing it would be.

2) Again on the lower jaw, the second tooth from the left incisor has moved forward from the others, this has happened within the last 6months or so. It has always been slightly forward but it seems to have moved more recently. It has, however, set in place now so I was, again wondering if this was fix-able and also at what cost.

3) The most urgent problem I have is with my upper jaw, the tooth to the right of the “big2” has moved behind the big2 somewhat. This happened pretty much overnight, perhaps due to sleeping on my arm. It felt sore for a while but then it seemed to set in place, then again a few weeks later I awoke to find it was sore once more. It has basically popped behind the “big2” and the right incisor, so again, was wondering if this is fixable and at what cost.

Those are the three things I would like to have fixed if possible, and if you could provide me with a quote/ortho-reccomendation, I’d be more than grateful! Also, as a side-note, I’m 21 and male. And a general point is that I think my teeth may be a little “crowded” since they sometimes feel cramped and I’m guessing this is why the teeth have moved around, lack of space may be causing them to migrate!.. Anyway, thank you in advance for your time and response. It’s much appreciated and a big help. Kind Regards K
