Hi Andrew,I recently went to the dentist(the dental clinic)and they said I need 2 small fillings, these are on the lower left and lower right molars. They will use composite filling and they will charge me £186 and £162 for each tooth, plus £79 for each Hygiene visit(2).It’s a private clinic but I find it very expensive, what do you think?

After tooth filling my upper teeth are slightly tilted plz advice?

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009
Q.
Hello, I had my first crown installed over a tooth that had broken. I was not in pain, it was a tooth that had been filled years ago. The tooth is a bottom, left, two teeth back from the canine. In any event, I have developed a slight lisp since the installation and it appears that my upper teeth are tilted (with the right side being lower). I went back to the dentist, he said he sees nothing wrong but that he would redo the crown if I wanted. He also offered the explanation of perhaps that perhaps air is now channeling differently through my mouth due to the width of the crown being less??? Is thsi a common occurence?

Hi, my teeth are pretty much straight but different lengths. I want to get them whitened but also want them level (its like they need filing across), is this an easy procedure and roughly how much would a dentist charge. Thanks

Saturday, August 29th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I had braces done 5 years ago, and recently had it redone as my front teeth had become crooked again. Now, 3 weeks later, one of my teeth is shaky (movable with my finger), and when i bite down on it, feels very unstable. What really worries me is that it isnt painful at all. Am i on my way to losing this tooth?

I know the time is 1/600HR waiting ,but is it true NO micro annulas due to accurate dimintion of the tooth. 2-Is the ceramic filling more advance relaible, durable than the composit filling if the ceramic price is 10 times more.Do you advise patients to use it? Thanks

Best option for tooth grinding problem

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009
Q.
Hi I have a tooth grinding problem which has cracked a bottom tooth. My dentist has repaired this twice with a small filling but it keeps coming off. I went to my practice last week (met a new dentist) who suggested having a veneer which was ‘really tough’ and would not come off. I was quoted £700. However, my previous dentist said a veneer would not hold and he wouldn’t sell me one, he suggested a night guard £400, but I am not convinced I ‘grind’ at night I think it is when I chew food. My dentist raised the height of a rear filling to stop me grinding and now I am having trouble chewing food. I therefore have three expensive options (veneer, night guard or constant fillings) and have no idea what to opt for. Can anyone help? Regards
