Hi there,

I’m 21 & have very good strong teeth & never had a histrory of any filings.
I had a brace when I was younger which has straightened my teeth out.
My only problem is that I am very paranoid about the colour of my teeth , there not white nor yellow just kind of in the middle but I have thought about having veneers in a while.

Do you think it would be advisable for me to have them done? And roughly how much would it cost to have all my teeth veneered?

Dear Dr Hughes

I had 10 porceline veneers fitted yesterday – to put it bluntly they look rubbish, not what I hoped or thought they would look like. my two issues are the colour and the way they arent level. I went for shade OM3 which is the 3rd lightest in the amercian shade range and they seem rather yellow. secondly, the teeth sort of bow – they are sort of lop-sided as in the right side is longer than the left. I actually preferred my temporaries to these! What can I do? I paid £7000!

Hi Sunita.
When i was younger i used to suck 2 fingers, this caused problems to my teeth leading to me then having to wear a brace, though now im 27 and my teeth are still a major problem, i have no confidence what so ever, and it really does make me feel depressed about it.
I heard about removable veneers and i am very interested in finding out more about this. Or any other treatment .

Due to bulimia my front teeth have worn down, how can I improve them and how much would it cost?

Hello, I am a 36 year old lady and over the last 15 years, due to 10 years of sufferering from bulimia, my two front teeth have worn down and are now slightly shorter than the rest of my top teeth. I was always told that I had an amazing smile and beautiful teeth. But not any more. I am looking into what options there are to adding a couple of mil in length to those top two teeth ( or veneers ?). I don’t even know if any thing is possible to fix this.
