Is there any way to temporarily cover up my shaven tooth that has been prepped for a veneer?
Q.
Hi Andrew, i am having a veneer, and the first ‘moulding’ appointment is in two weeks, this is where I’ve been told that they will shave my tooth and take a mould to be sent off.
i then have my ‘fitting’ appointment two weeks after that, so my question is, will i have to put up with a shaven tooth for two weeks?
I broke my tooth years ago, and occasionally it snaps now (which is why I’m having the veneer) and each time it snaps, to me it looks horrible
i don’t particularly want to have to put up with this for two weeks.

I would normally place a temporary crown/veneer during the 1-2 weeks while the new tooth is made.
