First off it would be beneficial to visit a dentist to check your sensitivity, especially if the pain is severe. Otherwise I would recommend using sensodyne toothpaste which is specifically formulated for sensitive teeth. Euthymol toothpaste does not contain flouride which is recommended in you daily toothpaste use. The antiseptic ingredient in Euthymol is thymol. Since it is antiseptic, Euthymol can help with the prevention of mouth ulcers.

I have looked at Euthymol toothpaste but thymol is not listed in the ingredients. Listerine mouthwash and Vicks vaporub both list it. Can you tell me if it comes under a different name in Euthymol toothpaste?
Indeed thymol is not listed as an ingredient in euthymol. Does flouride help specifically with sensitive teeth? A friend of mine suffers with both dental flouridosis and very sensitive teeth.
What is the best home remedy for sensitive tooth? I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I have already gone to my dentist and found no infection, but noted heavy grinding. Pain continued so went to my medical dr and was told could be tonsilitis. Antibiotics and pain reliever didn’t take care of the pain. So went to the ENT specialist and was told that i have swollen lymph nodes and salivary glands. Somehow after I took the antibiotic – the tooth holding the bridge and the tooth next to it became so sensitive which I get relief from drinking liquids. Once water is gone, then pain starts. So all night I drank water and no sleep. Please help. Thanks.
you need to find a dentist who can examine your teeth and find out the causes for you.
I am a user of euthymol toothpaste The treatment I am on for fibromyalgia indicates that I should avoid all contact with peppermint, spearmint .menthol and all salicylates .Can you inform me of the flavouring oils mentioned as used in euthymol.
The active ingredient in this toothpaste is Thymol, which is a herb extract. I checked the ingredients on google and found none of the other flavouring oils on the list that I saw.
Does any body know exactly what are the flavouring oils used and why is thymol not mentioned specifically on the package
I ask as I react very badly to it
I tell you honestly, you may AVOID any usage of fluride based toothpaste, and for that matter Thymol based paste from Euthymol. you will feel a lot better and safer to use lemon juice for brushing your precious teeth, so take fellow folk.
