Subtle results are most effective, says surgeon

Subtle results are most effective, says surgeonNatural, rested and subtle are ways to describe the results people should expect from facial rejuvenation, it has been claimed.

Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Alan Serure told the Houston Chronicle that the best kinds of treatment are ones which are not immediately obvious.

Dr Serure recommended that people leave enough time in between their treatments and any major social events they may have planned.

There are various options available, he said, as Botox weakens the muscles that cause wrinkles, whereas Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm fill wrinkles.

He also advised people considering facial rejuvenation treatments to ask their friends for advice.

However, Dr Serure added: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true.

"If you're considering plastic surgery, discuss all the risks and complete medical history with your physician."

Television personality Amanda Holden recently admitted in an interview with the News of the World that she has had Botox injections to prevent crows feet around her eyes.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18613315-ADNFCR
