Patients seek 'luxury in dental spas'

Patients seek 'luxury in dental spas'Consumers are opting for luxury and comfort with their dental health, it has emerged. According to Research and Markets, the US-trend of dental spas is rapidly increasing, with up to 75 per cent of US clinics to become spa-orientated. Patients who visited dental spas were found to spend around 30 per cent more than they would in a traditional dental clinic. Cosmetic dentistry makes up, on average, half of all dental spa treatment, the research firm revealed, responding to increasing consumer demand. Tooth whitening remains the number one cosmetic dental treatment, but the popularity of smile makeovers is on the increase, it added. Smile makeovers include reconstructive dental work including veneers, crowns and bridges. With the abundance of cosmetic dental treatments available, "there is no excuse for dodgy teeth", reports the Daily Mail. The newspaper claims that straight, white teeth can not only improve an individual's appearance but they are also easier to clean."ADNFCR-1374-ID-18507616-ADNFCR" More Smile Makeovers stories
