North East dental chain Queensway prepares to unveil new Jesmond clinic
A dental chain based in the North East has expanded with the acquisition of a new clinic based in Jesmond. Queensway is currently putting the finishing touches to a large-scale renovation of the former Orthodontic Practice and it will reopen sporting an impressive new look soon. The clinic will be renamed Queensway Jesmond.
Queensway, which was established in Billingham in 1993, is overseeing a £400,000 redevelopment project at the Jesmond clinic. The opening of the new clinic will increase capacity by 200% over the course of the first year and the company plans to employ five new members of staff. There are also plans to expand further in the next few months, with the owners hoping to recruit 15 new members of staff to add to the existing team of 115 by 2018.
The new Jesmond practice will offer a range of general dental treatments as well as specialist services including restorative care, implants, oral surgery and orthodontics. The clinic will also be geared up to provide the latest treatments and techniques to enable nervous patients to manage and overcome anxiety.
The Queensway group is made up of Queensway Dental, Queensway Orthodontics, Queensway Dental Laboratory and Queensway Skin Clinic.
Renovation work started two years ago in August 2016 and the team is looking forward to unveiling the new practice and showing off the incredible results of the revamp soon.
