Residents are delighted after a new NHS surgery opened in Needham Market.

Tooth Booth is the seventh NHS surgery to open in Suffolk, following a four million pound investment to improve NHS dental services in the area. NHS Suffolk has been working tirelessly over the course of recent years to provide residents with access to good local services; Clare Banyard, head of primary care, said that it had taken a long time to provide people in more rural areas with good local services but recent investment had paid off and the new surgeries were working well.

Tooth Booth will cater for both NHS and private patients, offering a range of general and cosmetic treatments. The practice opened on Monday and local people gathered to celebrate the opening of the new surgery; Mayor Mike Norris was joined by local schoolchildren, who entered a poster competition to promote the new surgery at the event. Councillor Mike Norris said the practice would make a huge difference to the residents of Needham Market and offer them a choice between NHS and private care.
