Swing singer Michael Buble underwent urgent dental treatment hours before he was due to appear on stage in Manchester, New Hampshire, it has been revealed.

The Canadian singer is currently on his Crazy Love tour and suffered a dental emergency when trying to open a sachet of ketchup with his teeth; he dislodged a crown and immediately set about trying to find a dentist to patch up the tooth so that he could perform.

Buble’s tour manager called dentist, David Bloom and although the dentist was in surgery at the time, he managed to talk to Bloom’s wife and schedule an appointment for the crooner. Shortly after, Buble’s tooth was repaired and he was on stage, singing to thousands in Manchester.

Mr Bloom admitted that he had asked for a few photos with the popular singer and he was invited to the concert and given front row tickets. Buble also gave his dentist a shout out at the end of the gig to thank him for seeing him at such short notice.

This was the second dental injury Buble has suffered while on tour, after he lost a tooth in the middle of a song at a concert in Sydney. Buble knocked the tooth on the microphone and the tooth fell out. He underwent urgent treatment the day afterwards in Australia and carried on with the tour as planned.
