Man loses five teeth in pool cue attack

A Derbyshire man has had five of his teeth smashed out when he was attacked with a pool cue.

The victim, 28, was playing pool at a pub, the Coronation Hotel, Baker Street in Alvaston, with some friends and some other men shortly prior to the attack.

The attack happen while the victim was leaving at around midnight on Monday 28 December 2009.

He was rushed to Royal Derby Hospital where he was treated for cuts to his lip, face and head.

One man, 26, was arrested in connection with the incident and is being quizzed by officers.
